Great quick little reference that can go where you go. True, most of the information should be well known to a current pilot. However, having aviation equations, often used acronyms, and some regs quick at hand is very useful. Great gift for a student pilot or professional. Buy the rules of thumb too.

Don't let the negative comments keep you from purchasing this book! As a Part 135 helicopter pilot, I get into a routine doing a specific job and things that were once basic to me as a pilot and flight instructor get pushed to the back of my memory. This little book is great to have due to its great span of information for any level of pilot! Love the size. Goes where I go!
